Annual Sports Meet -2082

Arunima Educational Foundation has been consistently organizing Annual Sports Meets with the aim of promoting physical fitness, discipline, and overall development of students. School Annual Sports meet programmes are conducted every year at Arunima Shikshya Sadan Secondary School and are carefully planned to ensure active participation of students from different age groups. Separate competitions are organized for boys and girls at both senior and junior levels to maintain fairness and inclusivity.

The school-level Annual Sports Meet includes a variety of indoor and outdoor games. For the senior category, students participate in events such as chess, the 100-metre race, juggling, and score-the-basket. The junior category features games like carrom, the 50-metre race, skipping race, and target throw. These activities help students develop physical strength, coordination, concentration, and sportsmanship. Winners are encouraged and recognized through the distribution of medals and certificates.

Arunima Educational Foundation also organizes the Inter-Arunima Annual Sports Meet at senior, middle, and junior levels. This Inter-Arunima event provides students with a wider platform to showcase their skills and competitive spirit. The sports included in this meet are table tennis (singles and doubles), badminton (singles), basketball, volleyball, cricket, and football. Outstanding performers in these competitions are awarded certificates and medals as a mark of appreciation.

Such sports programmes play a vital role in the holistic development of students. They not only improve physical health but also nurture qualities such as teamwork, leadership, self-discipline, and confidence.
